PAINTINGS

My approach, my technique in painting is not as minimalistic as my drawing.  It is on a grander scale, up to 4 by 8 feet.  The painting is achieved by layer upon layer with many erasures in between using house latex and oil paints.  Besides paints, industrial materials are introduced: glues, cements, water proofing and bonding materials.

 

Many paintings are inspired by music; a mirroring of the build-up and release of tensions by the composer; many times in a linear fashion.
